Hey, n00b here just wanting to share some thoughts I am just now having when going over the glorious memories of survivor and having recently watched my DVD of Pearl Isles and Youtube videos of Amazon IMO there's a lot to be said for the parallels. A bit to do with the gameplay, but mostly the content of both, sort of freaky if you ask me. As if burnett planned it that way.

Similarities to be said between S6 and S7:
- A smart, alliance-shifting player ousted on day 38
- On day 33, the player ousted each shared the first six letters of their names, Christy and Christa.
- Winner won because of the psycho placed next to them. icon_lol.gif
- Allies turning on one another once they knew the order of the boot (Rob C. with Jenna, Heidi, and Alex, Burton and Jon with Rupert, Christa, and Sandra)
- Person on the chopping block at final four ended up saving themselves.
- Players spoonfed the game (Lil and Matthew) ended up going far.
- Alliances with the underdogs fell because they got too cocky and showed an unwillingness to stick together (Tijuana and Christy)
- For the most part, two guys end up running everything strategically, one who dominates physically for the most part, and the other a real skinny dude with a mustache
- Jenna with her dying mom and JFP with his 'dying grandmother' icon_lol.gif
- Much heat at camp after TC over the ousting of a particular player (Alex and Rupert)
- Both winners were sneaks who were known to do some 'overhearing'
- Both final results were a 6-1 victory.

I'm sure there are many differences as well, but these seasons sort of have the same makeup. Not sure what the rest of you think but in some respects, the only transition survivor made in succession of these seasons was the theme. icon_razz.gif

Neat... I never noticed... purely a coincidence, but I think it is neat that they happened back to back!
